Thats a tough call @silversaver888... I personally think we are headed for a Christmas Crypto rally!
Now don't take my advice LoL.... But I think after Christmas we will see a dump, temporarily!
So.....What to do, what to do???
Diversification like you stated above BTC has it's place in my portfolio too, I like to spread it around, and i'm just an average guy...

I like the Gold idea, for me I kind of lean toward more bullion.
In crypto if you have much BTC get a Ledger Nano S to keep it offline.
I also like @spinvest, @spinvest-leo and @spinvest-neo SPI tokens, something to look into!😀
