SilverGoldHunter here and once again we have interesting news that the popular crypto.com has become the 1st platform to receive a Class 3 license.
Let's find out why?
The license was granted by the Malta Financial Services Authority, or MFSA which has allowed crypto.com to pave the way for broader digital assets through the European Union or the EU of course. Now that they are a licensed Class 3 VFA Service Provider, which means that they are now more rigorous governance, compliance and security requirements.
Kris Marszalek, the co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com quoted
“Being the first global cryptocurrency platform to receive a Class 3 VFA License from the MFSA is a major milestone for the industry as a whole. We are proud to lead the industry in regulatory compliance, ensuring consumer safety and protection in the EU and look forward to securing licenses in every country we operate in.”
crypto.com has quickly become one of the largest platforms for digital assets with over 5 million users in October 2020. The company targeting 15 Million users by the end of 2021 and 100 Million within 5 years.
