According to #khaleelkazi when you select the payout token it determines when they will automatically pay you Dash into your Keystore wallet.

However you still have access to the Hive and HBD in your wallet, so you could withdrawal some of it before it gets to 15 dollars worth of rewards and triggers the automatic trade to Dash.

So you could sell Hive for HBD or power up Hive.
