in Japan the govt even does a good job with infrastructure but they can’t help using many times more the money required and make horribly expensive or useless deals with companies that they have persona relationships with…somehow no one calls it embezzlement.

They can be so inefficient most times hence why I believe they should only make policies and regulate certain markets or industries. Even that can create issues. There are not perfect systems.
