Pumps can happen, nonsensical momentum can happen.
However, that stuff is just gambling when you purchase a coin that is nothing but a meme and does not actually have a use case or is just a weak ass copy of a coin that already does the intended use.
Stop with the MEME Coins, please!
Shiba Inu
- The spawn of this thing is based off another meme coin, need I say more? I won't even get into the tech (which isn't bad at all) that exists with no real use case.
SafeMoon
- A lot of promises with very little actual development is the theme for this coin thus far. Precedent has basically been set.
Ugh, I don't even want to keep listing coins...
I'm just gonna stop there and say this. If the main catalyst for a coins is basically a MEME or the MOMO chatter of the NORMIES - it is not an investment it is a gamble.
Get in early and get out on the pump. Otherwise stay away.
Of course, this is just my opinion and does not constitute financial advice in any way.

The meme coins time is definitely gone, but we could have made some decent cash if playing the cards right with these shitcoins. It's probably time for the real ones to do something.

Couldn't agree more.
This why is Shiba Inu coin dropping piece of mine pretty much backs up your message.
Shiba Inu and SafeMoon are shitcoins.

I'm poor and I invest in shiba inu hoping to get high so I can buy food for my family. There's no safe crypto, so I chose shiba hoping to get more returns. Post like yours are preventing more small investor to have money. It's like preventing poor people to eat food. The sad thing is, people who have food to eat like you are preventing poor people to have something to eat. I hope you understand.
I understand your point of view but do not agree with it. I actually believe I'm helping people save money and that is the #1 rule in investing - don't lose money. People should not invest money they cannot afford to lose. That is called gambling.
There are many ways to make money that do not include gambling on shit coins. For instance, writing blog psts on leofinance and earning LEO. No risk of losing money on that just use of some time.
I posted on steem (the old blockchain) for 1 year almost every day without having a post ever earn $1 (most only earned 1 penny) but kept at it. 5 years later now I'm considered a "whale" on LEO. The beauty of crypto, anyone can make money :-)

In addition to my first response, create a post and I will vote and curate it as part of my minnow support curation post I do weekly. Write a post about why you invest in Shiba and I will make sure to vote it.

I'm 100% in alignment.
I'll even go as far as to say that this is the kind of crap that inadvertently gets in the way of crypto gaining broader adoption. People look at this circus and go "you've GOT to be kidding!"
Doesn't exactly help us, does it?

Exactly, I have so many Normies that got burned buying DOGE above .50 cents that they swear off crypto now.
