Intro before question:
- I am working on a project called https://the-hive-mobile.app
- Idea is to give user best experience on mobile devices.
- Attract more & more users & increase user base of Hive
- Spread awareness of decentralised social media platforms
- I have been working on https://the-hive-mobile.app for over 3 months now.
- Here is my recent post - https://ecency.com/hive-139531/@sagarkothari88/preview-and-publish-on-the
- Everything I do is open source.
- In future, I wish that each community can have their separate mobile-apps very easily & I want to assist each community.
Question:
- I want to start a proposal for 50 HBD per day.
- I agree, no one is stopping me doing that
- But the bigger concern is - "Will my proposal ever gets accepted?"
- I am having cold feet at the moment & proposal not getting accepted may bring my moral down.
- What are the some key factors which needs to be kept in mind when suggesting a proposal?
- Have you ever created any proposal? If yes, How many of them were approved & funded?
- I hear that only after all of the big whales approve, proposal gets funded.
- If so, How do I get attention of the big whales? I don't want to tag them & get blacklisted.
- I am already posting dev-updates without any expectations so far for straight 37 days & 3 months in total. But without proposal, I am going to dry out soon.
You have to convince stake holders your proposal benefits the greater good of the hive community as much or more than you are asking. At least that is what it is in theory.
I have created a proposal, and it was funded for only a short amount of time.
Why would you think it is any different, it isn't the smallest stake holder who holds the deciding vote. You either need whales, or lots of smaller votes, it's simple math, not a conspiracy.
Do something they care about.
No one owes you anything, no one asked you to do anything. Keep that in mind when you work on it.
