Does your question mean that there are also #Splinterlands non-gaming accounts? 🤔 Maybe you are referring to Splinterlands accounts exclusively used for trading and/or leasing Cards, SPS, and other fungible/non-fungible tokens. 🤓

If you already have a Splinterlands gaming account, work on strengthening your deck, and then afterward join a Guild. That's how you will earn merits to buy Gladius packs.

Those merits come in handy plus it always feels good picking up some more cards
However. I observe that Epic and Legendary cards are rarer to find now though our Guild Store has already moved up to level 6.
