Hearing and seeing all the development that's going on at $HIVE excites me.
Traditional Web2 projects need to pay people to build things for them. On Hive. it's the other way. People -really- want to build on top of Hive. What a difference!
People must be "crazy" to build without pay... right? It was one of the things I struggled to see as well. At some point, I realized that Hive has the potential to take on a completely different approach to matters like that.
You see, it is us people, let's take @Taskmaster4450le as an example of the many out here, who give so much to the community. I actually am cheering for him to get paid (or an award). But hey... that's when I realize I have voting power.
It is a powerful way to show appreciation to those who you value and those who bring value.
With LeoThreads for example, it is quite astonishing to show this kind of appreciation, on short form content, which are basically NFTs.
We're all pieces of the puzzle. And by growing the Hive Blockchain with dApps like Threads. It will enforce, empower, and enhance the sole foundation that we're -all- transacting on. Even if you don't like it: this is the network effect.
Not trying to simp here, but Hive is an example of how Blockchain is done right. And those who understand this show this through the continuous development of dApps on top of it. I'm just getting excited for the time to come.
How many of you realize how lucky we are to be here? Without the aspect of monetizing your content and your time.
