I think you are right, it is important to follow my own path, not what many people are doing. Sometimes it is difficult and takes courage, though.
consistency is the secret to success, just like compounding is the secret to getting rich, compounding your efforts/time/energy (consistency) is a major key to having you plan work & getting better at the action your doing.
