Happy to hear it. I'm happy with my basic Android phone that I don't have to worry about losing or breaking. Apple have normalised buying expensive gadgets.
FWIW, I've dropped my current iPhone (no case or screen protector) a couple times, leaving only minor scratches. My coworker with an inexpensive Android (in a case and screen protector) has broken 2 screens in the last 3 months. Same value.
I dropped my last Motorola and cracked the screen. Wasn't worth fixing so bought a new one with a better case. Expect to have it a few years.
