RE: New Chaos Legion Plans... Buying in Gradually!

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Smart move, a gradual investment makes more sense in your circumstance as trying to rush in will cost a decent amount extra due to needing vouchers. I have similar plans for presale as you (Our SPS staked is similar).

For general sale its likely I sell all my early vouchers. I highly suspect that the voucher system will be removed sooner rather then later. I hate to even say this but there is a decent chance the vouchers become too big of a detterent for new users and boosters sales slow down more then expected. Forcing the hands of the devs to remove the voucher system earlier then they would of liked.

My strategy is a gamble of the voucher system failing / being less succesful then anticipated. It also allows me collect boosters for "FREE" or at the very least collecting boosters while not spending any of my current currencies.

I guess with selling it all depends on whether the price you get outweighs the benefits of the drop for a month or so on the packs you'd be holding and/ or cards you'd be renting.

Personally I'm buying as many as I can, packs that is!

Price we get for vouchers + value of the booster itself (once sold out on official site) vs. airdrop points. I admit its a close call as there is HUGE potential for SPS to sky rocket in value. My thoughts are as followes. We see UNTAMED being sold for $40+ USD and those were originally $2.00 each. With boosters now costing double + whatever a voucher is worth I can see CL boosters going for upwards of $50-$100 each almost directly after official print runs out. If vouchers are near the price of a booster itself that means my 400 monthly vouchers will eventually give me 400 "free" boosters.

EX. (Using my numbers) If the voucher system is in place for just four months that would mean I would have 1600 Boosters on month five for free. Actually more then that due to bonuses. With just using the base number of 1600 and using the low end price of $50 a booster that's $80,000 added to my networth with little risk to me. Of course this assumes that Splinterlands continues to be successfull. I still might not do the above but its one of the frontrunners for what I plan on implementing. I do like my SPS, such a hard decision.

My priority is to stack as much SPS ATM as possible.

Keeping it simple.
