Splinterlands Presale of Chaos Legion has ended. General Sale 1.0 is here. That means Chaos Legion Boosters are openable. Before we get to the giveaway lets talk about Chaos Legion General sale 1.0. You might be wondering why I'm calling the current sale 1.0. Well there are two parts to Splinterlands Chaos Legion general sale. General sale 1.0 (as I call it) will have 2 Million boosters available for sale. If you want to purchase any percent of those boosters you will need one Voucher for each Chaos Legion Booster you wish to purchase. When General sale 1.0 ends Generale Sale 2.0 will be next on the chopping block. General sale 2.0 will not require Vouchers for purchased packs BUT (you knew there was going to be a but) Vouchers will be required for bonus packs.

Vouchers How/Where?

As noted above Vouchers are needed to participate in General Sale 1.0. These Vouchers are airdropped by Splinterlands to those who hold and stake the Splinterlands governance token known as SPS. As with most things Splinterlands Vouchers are tradable. This means they can be found on secondary markets for sale/trade such as Hive-Engine. Currently Vouchers are worth about $9 USD. Chaos Packs On Secondary Markets

If you are new to Splinterlands you might not know that it is possible to buy Chaos Legion packs on secondary markets. Secondary markets do not require you to need a Voucher but there is a downside to that. Any booster purchased from secondary markets such as Hive-Engine will not count towards any future airdrops Splinterlands might award to pack purchasers. Only packs purchased on the official Splinterlands site will count towards such airdrops. Curently Chaos Legion packs on Hive-Engine are selling for around $10.44 USD. When we consider purchasing boosters from Splinterlands cost us a Voucher (currently worth $9.00 USD) plus $4.00 USD for the booster itself that is a total savings of $2.56 USD (Fluctuates based on market conditions) per booster when purchased on secondary markets.

Banished from below 4 of 5 - Over the past several decades, there has been a bitter feud between the venari people and the Dream Warden, who rules the Underworld realm. The Dream Warden collects the bodies and souls of dream criminals from all over the world, confining them in an elaborate prison of illusions that resembles a dream. When the Dream Warden’s territory became overfull of prisoners, he began expanding into the Strite and interfering with the daily lives of the venari. The venari are fighters and not the type to be bullied, so they resisted the loss of their valuable land.

For nearly 30 years, an underground war took place between the Dream Warden’s nightmare forces and the venari people from below. The Dream Warden was ultimately victorious, but he had to sacrifice the captivity of every one of his prisoners to find that victory. All in a moment, he released their minds and bodies, but not before implanting a single thought into their waking consciousnesses: The venari must be banished to the surface.

In an overwhelming flood of the most ruthless maniacal prisoners in the Planet’s history, the entire venari race was run out of the Strite last year. Hundreds of thousands of venari refugees marched through the open gate of Monster Mountain into a new world.
