It is hard to go around and think it is easy to walk away from one. Lately I stay away from #donuts. They are so tasty and you will eat more than one. Having a warm black coffee nearby you got it right in a cold morning.
That is not the case from a small town in Massachusetts. The name of the town is a street name where I live in Florida. #haverhill.
In this town, a company operates the biggest doughnut factory in America. They produce around a million of them per day for the whole area. So far they only fried doughnuts for half a day and they intend to produce more in the future by running the facility all day.
You wouldn't believe folks are complaining for the smell of the fried dough. Actually some are welcoming the smell during the holiday. Some feel distracted by it. Personally I would rather smell it every day instead of smelling odor from a waste plant. Luckily most waste plant I know in South Florida are almost a mile away from housing.
You would not believe someone get distracted by the smell of doughnut, saying it is all over their house. They are breathing it constantly. I think the company should check with them. Why not offer them free doughnut to appease them. Since one person finds it a nuisance it is getting a review/ check up by the health department and hopefully they come to a resolution.
Hope it does not cost too much, they have to reduce the grease/ doughnut flair out in the open.
Maybe by the time Summer comes everyone in the area will get used to it. Maybe they can start by eating some doughnuts in a regular basis to balance the whole thing. Something got to give. I think it is a brand new facility, so they will come up with a plan to alleviate this issue.
This is a plus for this community by giving folks in the area some employments. Let's hope everyone come to an agreement about the smell. One thing I can say, you cannot go wrong with #doughnuts. They look good, they smell good and seeing is believing.
I would like to know what happen next to this low level drama.
Truly America runs on #doughnut.
