RE: The biggest investment of life

Wow, that looks like some very busy times for Indian kids and their parents these days :) I was one of those kids that never liked going to school and was super happy about any holiday so I cannot even imagine what it is like to be home from school for 2 years! :D Wow. Absolutely unimaginable. So while I usually relate to your daughter´s opinions and attitudes, I will go with your son this time, definitely has the sympathy for him :) Also, what you say about education is generally true but not always. Look at me, for example. Despite not being a fan of school, I ended up completing several of them, including two universities but I can honestly say that it was my travels and stays abroad what has tought me the most so far. And it even applies to my jobs. I could perfectly do all the jobs that I have had even without my degrees. But maybe it´s just me, maybe it´s the not so efficient education system of my country, who knows... Anyway, I hope that your kids will get the best education, that they will not hate it and that they will actually use it later in their lives.

Well, I can say, our education system is not very efficient as well but there are some reforms going on now - we realized it now - after seven decades of independence. We thought of changing his school but then Covid changed everything....

Yeah, we need some reforms too. The system is kind of fossilized with very little changes over the decades. But come on, the society and the lifestyle is changing super fast, the differences between the individual generations are huge so it should be natural that schools simply cannot be teaching the same things in the same ways as they did 50 years ago :)
