The first time I heard about intermittent fasting was when I asked my friend (who I have known for my whole life, and who always had a bit more weight) about it as he was skinnier than ever! As I was not the only one who noticed that, he told me that others were asking him questions like: "Are you sick?", or "Do you want to be like that?" 😃

He is using the 16/8 method you explained, but I think he mentioned that he wants to use even stricter hours... Besides the weight loss benefit, he looks much better, and he also does workout to maintain good health!

I also use the 16/8 during the week and any now and then I do a 24h fasting for a full reset. It not only helped me with my weight loss but also more energy and better mood!

It also helped me to know my body better so I can figure out if it's really hunger or just emotions playing around, or even if the body needs water.

It's not for everyone but for someone with no medical conditions that could interfere, it is a good approach for better body health :)
