I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
Keeping your Pen safe from external attack should be one of main priorities of a Farmer because when a Pen is constantly attack either by thieves, snakes, rodents, alligators and the likes. This negative act towards this Pen and investment will cut back the profit of the business. A Farmer trying all his best to keep the Pen safe is the one who is trying to protect his investment, doing all his best so that his impending profit wouldn't be tampered with.
.... What are the things a Farmer can do protect his Pen from external aggression or attack?
Firstly, always make sure that your Pen is always locked either when you are around or when you are not around. This is because there are some people who are monitoring your movement so that you can lose guard so that can have access to the Pen and exhibit their evil act. That was how lost some Birds to thieves in the early morning of the day some weeks ago.
Then another thing is be sure to avoid any holes leading from outside of the Pen into the Pen. These holes are where reptiles like Snakes and Alligators can have access into the Pen and they might harm the Birds. You will just discover that you keep seeing dead Birds every morning you wake to check on your Birds and this may tamper with your impending profit.
Also make sure you don't put things or objects that can harm the Birds in the Pen. Normally, health broiler birds are hyperactive, so any object that might them harm them should be put away from inside the Pen.
