Malaga has had enough of British tourists!

Invasion

Malaga, the beach city at the Costa del Sol has been very popular with British tourists since the 1970’s. But after lots of protests by the locals, the government has now put in strict legislation for the tourists, of which most of them are from the UK.
The protesters werd shouting that it was an invasion instead of tourism that drives up house prices.

No more beer bellies

As of now everyone has to dress respectfully in the streets and other public places, except the beach. This means no more parading in bikini in the streets or for the men, waliking round without a shirt. Fines are very high, 750 EUR for this offence and also for littering.

More and more Spanish cities

Malaga is not alone, Mallorca, Ibiza, Platja d’Aro and Barcelona have all taken similar measures against tourists. In favour of the local population. Because the excesses by tourism were hindering the people.

I guess I can’t blame them…

Sincerely,

Yes, same in Valencia. We can't afford the rent! But everytime more and more touristic apartments! Where are we going to live??

I understand completely, enough is enough!
