Central “mobsters”
The European Central Bank has decided to lower interest rates from 3,75 % to 3,50 %, as expected.
Some refer to the central banks as the central mobsters, and I can’t quite blame them. They are the organisations that can print and create money out of thin air, and have no obligations to anyone but themselves. Which makes me me an absolute cool lover of these institutions.
Especially if you consider the other information that was given by chairwomen, Christine Lagarde. She tempered grow expectations for the next three years, which shows that her decision is too soft. She should have lowered with at least 0,50 %. This would have created more competitiveness.
Lower interest rates will be the only way to higher growth in the future, but it seems it the ECB is just too soft for that!
Sincerely
