And while the centralised worlds are going to win in the short term, because quite frankly money from the likes of Facebook will ensure they work better, they will be eclipsed by the decentralised.
I believe it is in the interest of the old guards of centralised connections to get on the band wagon of the metaverse if they want to have an iota of relevance in the future.
Thats another great point you make.
They will actually be incentivised to open up and join the decentralised, free world because it will be more profitable for them.
The decentralisation cat is now out of the bag and the way that companies make profit (not to mention authoritarian governments govern), has changed.
Adapt or die!
