I do think that Nvidia is the biggest winner in this AI craze. They seem to have a monopoly on the best GPUs available. I don't know if there are other companies that can provide the compute needed by the AI learning, but I doubt they are as good as Nvidia's. This makes me think if the AI companies would try to strike a deal with Nvidia and try to block other companies from getting their hands on the latest models. Google certainly has the funds to do so.

Google is doing something on their own and Tesla has some chips that Samsung builds for its use. However, it is not widespread and I dont think the other chip makers are even close to in the GPU game.
For now, they are the AI winner. The problem with "buying the maker of the shovels" is that it is the lowest risk but there were some gold miners who did make more money.
But Jensen is leading that company well.
