I think they do expire there but not before your late 60s early 70s or so (just like here). I posted about changing my driving license not too long ago and now the Greek state will offer a digital one that you can have on your phone. I did it voluntarily, I could keep the same for many more years with a picture from my late teens :)

The difference here is that when your driving license expires, which is every 10 years till you are 70 I believe, you need a medical examination. Fail that and you get no driving license. It sounds tough but I agree with it.

We need medical exams too but not every 10 years. After 68 I think we must pass them every 2-3 years. Don't wanna look at it cause I'm not close and I don't wanna think about it now :)
