John? Who is that guy?
Hey folks 👋! I hope you are all having a good day. I will tell you a little bit about myself and currently this is going to be my first blog, with the goal of collecting some information and statistics about your opinions. As you can all see, my name is João (This is in the Portuguese version, but translating into English is John), currently 23 years old, and I have a hearing disability since birth. I can say that I am a developer/programmer(I do not specialize in specific cases, but I have a wide range of knowledge with various languages, technologies, tools, etc...) and I do this with a lot of passion and love, it is something that will never leave in my life. That's enough telling my story and let's get to the point! 😉
Hive? Games? What's your feedback?
Recently, I've been integrating into Hive but slowly, and I come across several things that leave me a bit confused. I see several games posted out there, before I start, my purpose of this post is not to be mean-spirited or call them crappy, etc.... As I had said at the beginning, with the intention of collecting your opinions. Back to the point, what do you actually like about games, having a good interface but with few features? having a bad interface but with many features? Both a little or a lot? Or the game can be really horrible and not have anything, but you are interested in the fact that the game can generate an income and that it can be profitable for you? I will not give my personal opinion or mention games because each one is made in its own way and style and this is incomparable.
What will your feedback be helpful or used? Why all of this?
I created this thread to self-introduce myself a bit and become more engaged with the community. About your feedback, it will serve for my own personal development goals and also for our future game called "RaceValley" (@racevalley) and give us a sense of which way people are leaning. Because as developers, sometimes it is hard to think what is more adapted to "players" or "clients", because creating something is easy but adapting it to the needs of each individual makes it difficult due to each one has their own preferences, way of playing, etc., and sometimes it ends up being frustrating and I/we want to avoid that.
That's all! See you next time!
I really appreciate if you have read so far! Now your comment is missing to hear the best from you 😁. Well, that's the end of it! Thanks again!
