Financial Ponderings

A lot of days, in fact the argument could be made that most days, Is it and run multiple plans and scenarios through my mind. Ways I can further myself on the path to true passive income and financial freedom. On other days I think maybe it would be better to leave the financial system behind entirely, travel the country living off the land and making money doing odd jobs, like the old school "hobos" from the depression. Both would be more or less financial freedom, though on opposite ends of the spectrum.

The life of a wanderer, while enticing, is little more than a fantastical day dream I use to give my brain a break from all of the planning and scheming to get my financial freedom. Mostly they are ways to further improve upon and expedite the processes I already have in place. The hardest thing for me to further these is my own personal financial situation, though I've also been trying to come up with ideas to increase my cash flow to enable me to invest more heavily into passive income streams.

  • I have invested in the stock market, exclusively into dividend stocks with the DRIP program in order to grow the dividends I receive. I jokingly say I enjoy seeing my stocks being in the red instead of the green because that means my DRIP buys me more shares.

  • I will hopefully be starting a real estate business within the next year with two other people founding it with me.

  • As far as crypto goes I am pretty much exclusively on Hive, and even that has been for less than a year. I have been focusing on gathering dividend tokens and increasing my holdings in a couple of LPs. I also participate in the #hivepizza #scholarship program.

If you have any tips or tricks you use or used on a limited budget, please, let me know. It very well could be something I haven't thought of that could help further my progress along this road, and that I could then also pass onto others.
