I know this many years , it is Portugal. Madeira + Azores ( EU+NA)
I just found there is one more country covering three continents.
That is CHILE
Russia is my best guess for this one. Stretches across Europe , Asia and North America

I would swear it did. From my junior high geography. Let me do a quick google search and get corrected from there.
The US bought Alaska from Russia in 1867, but that was 157 years ago. The image has the answer in plain sight, but why?

I image indicates that the answer is Portugal, but I don't understand how. Just as the Canary Islands are part of Spain but near Africa, it's similar to Cape Verde for Portugal. What I don't understand is how North America relates to this.
