Wearing sunglasses, or "shades," offers numerous benefits for eye health and comfort:
UV Protection: Sunglasses shield eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, reducing the risk of cataracts, macular degeneration, and photokeratitis (sunburn of the eye) over time.
Reduced Eye Strain: They help alleviate eye strain caused by bright sunlight, which can lead to headaches and fatigue.
Glare Reduction: Polarized sunglasses effectively minimize glare from reflective surfaces, enhancing visibility and safety, especially while driving.
Debris Protection: Sunglasses act as a barrier against wind, dust, and other airborne particles that can irritate the eyes.
Skin Cancer Prevention: They protect the sensitive skin around the eyes from UV exposure, lowering the risk of skin cancer
I actually heard a guy stating that wearing sunglasses, sunscreen and even clothes is anti-bitcoin.
It was quite interesting, I can find it and send a link to the podcast if you like 😊
I noticed a lot of people wear them in the streets in your country. In ours it's usually in the beach or while travelling.
I can't cope with the discomfort of wearing any glasses, so I do without them in any situation. :) !LOLZ
