What if you put $500 in Apple stock every year instead of upgrading your MacBook or iPhone ?
• 2010: $16,500
• 2011: $14,300
• 2012: $18,800
• 2013: $21,900
• 2014: $28,700
• 2015: $42,800
• 2016: $61,200
• 2017: $88,500
• 2018: $107,300
• 2019: $137,400
• 2020: $180,200
• 2021: $212,500
• 2022: $184,700
• 2023: $232,900
• 2024: $247,800
And now imagine if you put the same $500 in Bitcoin
That will make you a million with time
That's it, just by reading this, I'm adding it to my new year's resolution.
That's why you're rich and they are poor. This is the mindset of the rich
UPDATE-- After researching historical data 4 AAPL stock @ NASDAQ, I thought it would B better 2present my answer as a stand-alone post. Results would include avg price in a year as well as HLOC over 52 weeks. I'll need 2do likewise 4 $BTC.
Investing on apple stocks is a better idea obviously
Can't even imagine if started doing that since 2010 with BTC. 👀
I would now be in southern France drinking the most expensive brandy, smoking Cuban cigars, watching the sea.
hahahaha🤣
I need to do some math 2C what how much BTC one would have by following your what-if scenario. Once I have the results, I'll re-thread your thread with the update. My VP is depleted, so please accept this slice of !PIZZA & !LOLZ instead.

Guten Morgen Mr bOOmbastic.
Merry Christmas
UPDATE 2-- I have tables of prices for both AAPL & BTC from 2009 through 2024. I won't use average prices, just HLOC prices for both AAPL & BTC. I will wait 4 EOY prices before I publish post in early Jan. 2025. Numbers will be eye-popping.
I need is a time machine to buy Bitcoin at a dollar with 500 dollars. I'm set for life.
So.. for those who already do, do you suggest doubling up? I would
dollar cost averaging each of my coins
If I had done that I wouldn't need my day time job
That would be millions of Dollars by now. A missed opportunity for me sadly
I think Bitcoin was 0.4 dollars in 2010. Meaning you would have over 1000 BTC.
Multiply that by 100,000, and you've got something like a 100 million dollars from a 500 dollar investment.
Well, that would be the wisest decision I could ever make for generations ahead of me. I blew it 😔
