Awakening The Entrepreneur in You

My name is olusoji, like i promised in my first post I'm going to bring new ideas and innovations backed up with my personal experience and today i will be starting a series titled "Awakening The Entrepreneur in You"
I believe 99. 99% of us here have heard the word "Entrepreneur" or "Entrepreneurship" at least once but most people don't actually know what it means, i remember speaking to someone i met online last year, he messaged me on whatsapp and he said he wants to enroll himself in Entrepreneurship and immediately i saw the message i smillled and i asked him a very simple question "Who is an Entrepreneur" and he replied saying and i quote "i think an entrepreneur is someone that has a shop or someone that sells something" i replied him with a smiley face emoji and i asked him if that's all and he said yes, to most people that's all what's Entrepreneurship entails, buying, selling, collect your money buy sell again collect your money........, if this is your understanding of Entrepreneurship then you don't understand Entrepreneurship, my guys understanding of Entrepreneurship is basically trading without understanding or trading without skills in marketing.

Who Is An Entrepreneur

An entrepreneur is a person that is willing to take the risk of a new venture or business if there is a significant chance of profit or an entrepreneur is a person that converts innovation to profit.

Factors that Drive Entrepreneurs to succeed

1. Entrepreneurs must be willing to accept risk and failure - : take risk but take calculated risk quickly, when you fail, fail quickly without much cost, analyze why yoy failed, build a strategy to overcome why you failed, move on an keep on building
   I remember when i started my first blog, in the first month everywhere was rosy, people where thrilled to visit a new blog, in the second month, i saw paradise, in the third month traffic dropped and earnings dropped along with it, to be honest i wasn't happy about it but i calm my head and settled down to think about it and i discovered that people wgere tired of coming to see content in the same niche over and over and then it dawned on me that i should try a multi niche because that's the solution to the problem and in the next month i got x3 of my highest month traffic, this is just to emphasize on what i Saïd earlier, being an entrepreneur is more than just buying and selling you have to sit down, think and calculate every little step you're taking, imagine if i continued running the blog with just a single niche which my audience where already bored of, I'm sure i will be the only one visiting my blog by now, as an entrepreneur yiu have to take risk, if you have an idea, think about every possible scenario, calculate your risk and if you see a significant profit Do It.

2. Focus and Energy: this are the two driving force of entrepreneurship, everyone can start a car but not everyone can drive a car, what do i mean by this, starting a new venture is one huge step but keeping it running is another bigger task, as an entrepreneur you have to be ready to face challenges and you have to be able to work long hours in pursuit of your goal.

1. Entrepreneurs usually operate on low/limited budget: as an entrepreneur you have to learn to be frugal, minimize your spending, cut down expenses and cut down expenses again and this requires a great deal of deal of discipline, as an entrepreneur what should be your top financial priority is funds to keep your venture moving all other things should be left out except your needs, 😂 i forgot to add this while writing, i had to come back to add this because its very important, As an entrepreneur your mentality should not be "how will i get funds/resources to start/build my business" it should be "With the money/resources i have how can i manage it to start up my business and keep it running".

2. Perseverance: this simply means continuing in a course of action without regard to discouragement, opposition or previous failure, as an entrepreneur you have to get ready for when you are going to fall by making sure that when you fall you rise back quickly because what kills most business is just a fall (majorly) financial crisis so when you want to start a new venture make sure you have a back up plan.
   I'm giving kudos to @trojan1, he was running an eatery and at the same time he was a profitable crypto trader, when his eatery suffered a down time due to his partners pulling out he had his crypto currency business to fall back to like i said earlier an entrepreneur knows when a venture isn't right and when to move on from it a lot of people consider moving on as giving up but they are two different things, any venture you start will always be a risk and it's your duty to know when to cut your loss or take profit, people always say nobody cares what you are going through they only care about your result / "Na everybody dey face something but nah who succeed people go see"

Don't forget an entrepreneur is a person who organizes and operates a business venture and assumes much of the associated risk, according to the quote above, nobody cares about the challenges you face what people care about is your result, nobody will celebrate because you are going through a challenge they will only celebrate you if you come out of the challenge with a tangible result

3: Creativity: as an entrepreneur you should impact in yourself the ability to create or invent something, it's not compulsory you create from scratch you can simply modify and by modify i don't mean copy.
