    Awesome!! I travelled there a decade later and was amazed at the desolation. Heard it is now recovering nicely.

    I went to Johnston Ridge Observatory when it first opened. I hear it is closed until at least 2026 because the road washed out. Guess things are still settling in around there. 😉
