Weekly Nutbox Report #13

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Hello folks. Today, we have some important news about the walnut airdrop.

The airdrop is scheduled to start on December 1, 2021. Every $PNUT (BEP20) HODLers will receive airdrop of $NUT (BEP20).

Note that it is BEP20, which is the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) version of $PNUT!

Though Both TRON and BSC chains will be supported as for now. I would say BSC is always a better ecosystem than TRON.

For those, who wonders where we can cross-chain transfer our $PNUT token to BSC, please review the guide below:

It seems that the time of Peanut v2 has come. As we can see, our old version of the staking pools will be updated to a new pool with new Binance Smart Chain contracts.

According to the plan, the Nutboxes' team will begin to destroy and migrate $PNUT on November 18 (in two days). In the next few days, there will be a lot of news and tutorials.

Let's wait and see all the exciting adventures.

$PNUT Pricing

The price of $PNUT has been very low lately. I thought that with the rise of Walnut Project, it could give a boost to Peanut; However, it seemed that $PNUT were forgotten due to the popularity of Walnut and $NUT. From $0.0209 last Monday to $0.0153 on Sunday, a drop of 26.80%.

To be honest, it is definitely understandable since the current $PNUT is on the TRON network. There are really no projects on TRON that I want to participate with; Naturally, all tokens in my hand are just being held in my wallet, and will not be traded into other tokens. It just does not have any exciting projects to participate.

Fortunately, we have the news of "$PNUT going to BSC". It's a total different environment over there. And in the first quarter of next year, the $PNUT staking contract will also support Polkadot and Kusama. I am sure it will be much more active than the current platform.

Remember the day of November 18. Ready to transfer our $PNUT.

Total Delegated Power on Peanut

If the value of the currency drops, the delegated power will definitely decrease. Besides, there are many more pools, which users can delegate to on the Walnut platform. You don't have to stay on the only options now because of Walnut project.

From Monday to yesterday, the total delegated power has decreased by 491,699, which is equivalent to a negative growth of 7%.

Next, we are going to look at the total delegation on Walnut. The final number from the last report hit 19,097,804. It increased to 19,308,849 on Monday; and after a week of growth, it finally hit 21,491,970 yesterday; a total increase of 11%. We can clearly see where all the delegation from the Peanut project has gone to.

At the current state, 14 different communities on the Walnut platform have 41 staking pools, and 24 tokens have been minted on blockchains that Walnut supports, with a total locked value of more than 27 million US dollars.

As more Polkadot communities willing to work with the Walnut platform to support Polkadot's first ever slot auction. The platform has so far locked in 75,342,300 $DOT. I believe that with the development of Polkadot slot auction activities, more communities will join the Walnut project.
