@deraaa@iamchuks are in uni. I can supervise the initiative. If we can have something similar to what marksam did in Ghana in four major universities we can onbaord thousands of users. I believe i can make it work
I'm certain we can crowdfund the hell out of it if it's properly organised and marketed. Feels like people give Hive sucré a lot of support for their work!
I can write down a proposal. This is something I want to do. Asides from promoting Leo it will help me gain influence in the Nigeria crypto space. I could do a lot more with the $5k spent in this one month zealy campaign.
I understand what you are implying, and I cannot confirm or deny what you are saying. My only take is that it's hard to convince people to fund a campaign without having anything to back it up with first.
Even Khal confirmed that he was able to reach more people through the live seminar him and cat attended. There is a lot to unpack here for threads. We can create a space for it.
Sure, and I agree with that. But we were talking about getting funded. Start small, show progress and then people will probably gladly support the effort! :)
Aa taskmaster would say. "Just do something" and it's always better than anything. Hopefully you get this of the ground!
To host conferences and do grassroot campaign takes money. Print flyers, rent hall for seminars, do follow up campaigns.
The cheapest options would be to print flyers, but one needs to educate people. so...

Maybe it's a little much to start to ask for 5k. But maybe if you start small and show some results people might have a easier time to support.
What I am implying is that grassroot campaigns are alot cheaper and can reach more people.
For instance, targeting young and educated people is more effective than luring grifters in the web3 space
