A content consumer knows how to consume content, push a button and get paid, plus maybe say a few words. Literally the easiest crowd to please and "train" how to use all the technical stuff running in the background.

Complex in the same way a car is complex. Still easy to drive. Just need to learn how, but you don't need to know how the engine works.
But the cognition are different......software and hardware can not mix always....except computers..

Technology is the facilitative part...may be a vehicle, but the social milieu needs more of the social thing, organic thing.....
