The units are MVEST, multiply with 570 to get HP.

So, return proposal for instance is roughly 27M HP. In theory the "middle class" could easily approve one. An example of their strength.
Yea, getting funded by the DHF can be done without whales support... it has already happened with few proposals... getting in the top 20 witnesses is much harder
Could almost push into the top 20 but luckily we're decentralized and it would be hard to get that many to agree on 1 thing. Still, there's enough there for the mid class to make an impact. This knowledge is empowering. Their say matters.

There are "dolphins" in several communities. Decentralized. I don't think they all need to be in one room. They're just as much a part of this entire community as anyone else and can simply participate or not on their own, like anyone else

I was thinking of a way to unify their HP to get proposals passed. But I think you have a point, they can be reached through the usual channels because they live amongst us.
Do you know how often people feel they "need" support so go pandering to whales(the minority)while completely ignoring the majority? Then can't figure out why things aren't working out for them? Target the small group, get the small return.
Hmmm I never thought about it like that. I assumed the whale vote attracted other votes, hoping to get a piece of the whale vote?
A simple combination of free will and participation. No different than life. And with this knowledge, it's not about getting everyone on the same page. It shines a spotlight on everyone. Those creating proposals can see them now.

I hope someone can. They have fancy tools that can grab this info in seconds. I have a source and could add it all up manually but I'm trying to avoid being a caveman.
Sure, it will be interesting to know what percentage of the populace in Hive are Dolphin and above......that creation of new middle class is the USP of Hive.

Yes, true. abh12345 is not quite active these days, but yes he is the right guy and perhaps he has the readymade and updated data all the time.
Any time I have a question like this, those are the two guys I know would have the answers, and whatever they say is 100% accurate.
