I had seen some rumblings with other players recently and thought I would set up a new account to see if all the Pathetic Rewards were true and to my amazement they are truly Pathetic. I won just 0.17 cents literally, the cheapest card atm is 0.20 cents come on @Splinterland at least give new players a reward card because this is truly a turnoff if your a new player. Watch my rewards to see what you earn for several hours of torment trying to win quest battles. Is the Pathetic Rewards or is Splinterlands getting Pathetic with new players.

I am happy with what I get...but I can understand when a player plays more than me and gets low rewards. Is there a way to get better rewards?
But alot of players that are new that I have gotten into the game are all saying the same, poor rewards if your new. I thought I would see if they were correct and they are. Yesterdays reward was like 0.07 cents - if your trying to get players into the game they need real incentives.

Wow! Then I am glad I haven't invited any friends yet. I am also new and try to play as much as possible when I have some free time from work or when I get back home. It might be pretty hard to advance that way, as put it...without investing money into the game, or at least, not to much.
SL give you lot of ways to earn apart from playing.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I know I can stake it, I am aware of the 1up pools now, and renting cards. If there are any other ways, I still have to discover them by reading more about SL.

Thank you for this chance. I went and posted my comment with the approach that I'm using for the moment.
Cheapest card in SL is 20 cents , gone are the days of 2 cents card.
