Today I'm going to explain about Challenge Mode in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of learning about the game.

Log in to the Splinterlands website and in the upper left corner of the screen go to Play and then Challenge.

On this page you will find Challenge Mode and now I will explain how it works.

What is Challenge Mode?

There are secluded areas in the wilds of Praetoria where one may find ancient dueling circles. Enchanted with protection spells and fueled by ley lines of mana, they are perfect for those seeking the challenge of one-on-one battles without the distraction of observers.

Duelling circle challenges are NOT ranked. You may send an invite to any battle mage with match conditions of your own choosing.

Basically, in this mode you will invite other players to battle with you, so it's a great way to have fun with your friends and test strategies.

Challenge Mode has 3 settings: Cards Allowed, Difficulty (Level Caps), and Power Up Your Challenges!

Cards Allowed

In the Cards Allowed option, you will select the cards that will be allowed in battles, and there are 7 options.

  • In All Cards, players will use the cards they own or have rented in the game.

  • In Gold Cards Only, players can only use Gold Cards.

  • In Alpha Cards Only, players can only use cards from the Alpha edition.

  • In Gladiator Cards, players can only use Gladiator cards.

  • In Modern, players can only use cards that are allowed in the Modern format.

  • In Ghost Cards, players can use all Splinterlands cards, even if they don't own them.

  • In Ghost Modern, players can use all Splinterlands cards that are allowed in the Modern format, even if they don't own them.

Now let's move on to the next setting.

Difficulty (Level Caps)

In the Difficulty (Level Caps) option, you will choose the maximum level of cards allowed in battle.

  • In Novice, the maximum card level is equivalent to the Novice league.

  • In Adept, the maximum card level is equivalent to the Bronze league.

  • In Intermediate, the maximum card level is equivalent to the Silver league.

  • In Advanced, the maximum card level is equivalent to the Gold league.

  • In Expert, the maximum card level is equivalent to the Diamond league.

Now let's move on to the last setting.

Power Up Your Challenges!

In the Power Up Your Challenges! option, you will choose the battle details.

If you use this option, you will need to spend 10 DEC or 10 Credits, but if you have 50000 SPS in stake or 1 Rune, then you don't need to pay anything.

After making all the settings, you just need to send the invitation to the player you want to challenge.

The Challenge Mode is quite interesting and, in my opinion, makes Splinterlands even more fun.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.

Find more information about Arcade Colony in my post: Discover the Arcade Colony Platform.
