Today I'm going to open some packs to expand my card collection in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of discovery.
My current focus in the game is on cards from the Chaos Legion edition, the new Reward Set, Foundation Cards, and Gladiator cards.
Now I'm going to open some Chaos Legion packs and I hope to get some great cards to add to my collection.
To get Chaos Legion packs I have two options: buying them on the Hive Engine or buying them from other players in Splinterlands.
On the Hive Engine, the lowest price for a Chaos Legion pack is 3.18 Swap.Hive, which is equivalent to $0.32. In my opinion, this is a great price for a pack in Splinterlands, but with packs you'll depend on luck, and for that reason it might be better to buy the cards directly on the card market.
Now let's take a look at the price of the Chaos Legion pack in Splinterlands.
In Splinterlands, the lowest price for the Chaos Legion pack is 622 DEC, which is equivalent to $0.36. The price on the Hive Engine is more attractive, so I'll choose to buy the packs there.
These are the prices as of the date of this post, and sometimes the price in Splinterlands is lower than on the Hive Engine, so always keep an eye on both to take advantage of the best opportunities when buying packs.
I'll only buy 3 packs because my main focus is buying cards on the market, but sometimes I like to open packs to feel the thrill of trying to get valuable cards.
The total I paid for the 3 packs was 9.56 Swap.Hive, which is equivalent to $0.97. This is a small amount, but it's not a problem because I'm expanding my card collection little by little with the earnings I get on the Hive.
Transferring packs from the Hive Engine to Splinterlands is quite simple. You'll need to log in to Splinterlands and go to the OPEN option in the upper left corner of the screen.
On that page, you'll open all the packs you have in Splinterlands. In my case, I'll go to the Chaos Legion packs and choose the TRANSFER option.
To transfer the packs, you need to choose the "Hive Engine" to "In Game" option. Click TRANSFER, and after a few seconds, you'll receive the packs in Splinterlands.
Once you have the packs in Splinterlands, go back to the OPEN option and you just need to open the packs you select.
Now let's see the cards I'll get by opening the packs.
Another detail I forgot to mention is that there are Legendary potions and Alchemy potions in Splinterlands.
Legendary potions increase your chances of getting legendary cards in packs.
Alchemy potions increase your chances of getting Gold Foil cards in packs.
Each pack contains 5 cards, and each card requires 1 Legendary potion and 1 Alchemy potion.
Okay, now let's see the cards I got.
I wasn't lucky enough to get very valuable cards, but I got 2 summoners that I use a lot in my battles and also 1 Gold Foil card.
Unfortunately, the Gold Foil card I got isn't valuable and I'll probably sell it to buy more regular cards later.
That's the total value of the cards I received, and unfortunately I lost money, but it was fun opening the packs. My journey in Splinterlands continues, and evolving my Chaos Legion cards to the maximum level is one of my main goals.
