Today I'm going to talk about the Poseidon card, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge in Splinterlands.
I'm not a big fan of ranged attack cards, but I have to admit that many of them are powerful, especially when it comes to dealing damage in battle.

Poseidon is a ranged card from the Azmare Dice edition, and that name is very famous worldwide, so I think you already know the deck this card belongs to.
I remember that in the past this was a card I really wanted in my collection, but its price wasn't low, so I just rented it to use in my battles.

Currently you can find this card for a very low price, and even though it's an old card, it's still a good option for current battles in Splinterlands.
What I like most about the Poseidon card is that from level 1 it can already deal a lot of damage because it has a high ranged attack, but it gets even better when you know its abilities.
Poseidon has 3 abilities: Shield, Blast, and Immunity.

Shield: 50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power.
If you face ranged and melee monsters, this ability will be very helpful in battle.

Blast: Deals an additional 50% damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target.
This is a great way for Poseidon to deal even more damage in battle.

Immunity: Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.
You'll love having this ability when the Noxious Fumes rule is in effect in battle.
Even now, Poseidon is a great card to have in battles, and the best part is you can rent or buy it for a very low price, but this isn't an investment tip, just my opinion on this card.
I think the only downside to the Poseidon card is its high mana cost, but in battles with a lot of mana available you'll certainly want to use it.
If I were to add an ability to Poseidon, it would be the Close Range ability, so it would also be useful in the first position and also a great defense because of the Shield ability.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
