$dec and $sps in a quiet market: Today's sentiment

in LeoFinance6 days ago

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also doing well. I have been a bit busy all day today, but I have been keeping an eye on the market from time to time. Especially the two tokens of Splinterlands, $DEC and $SPS—how did they do today? I wanted to know the reason why I will buy some #hive exchange and #Dec tokens because I need to buy some new cards. So today I tried to understand everything in my own way. I think it is very important to analyse the market a little before doing anything. So today I am sharing my observations and thoughts with you in a simple way. I think it will be good.

When I was checking #hive-engine, or coin market, I saw that the $DEC token is moving quite calmly today. There was no big rise or fall throughout the day. The thing is that I have seen this token stay at the same price most of the time. The price always fluctuates within small ranges. What I think is that $DEC is now largely dependent on in-game usage and player activity. So this is not a lot of ups and downs. Those who are playing the game, taking rewards, are using it. This trend was clear today. I did not notice any sudden pressure or overselling in the market, which I think is a good thing.

On the other hand, when I checked the price of #sps on my #mexc exchange, I saw that $SPS seemed a little more stable but heavy today. Even though the price did not move much, there is no way to call it weak. Rather, I think those who are holding $SPS are still patient. Since it is a staking and governance token, people's thinking about $SPS is a bit long-term. Even though trading is not very active today, the price has not collapsed. This is what I think is important.

Now, if we compare $DEC and $SPS, it is clear that the characters of the two tokens are different. Most people know that $DEC is very much associated with playing games, so it is used every day. And $SPS is a bit of a forward-thinking token; those who think about game development, voting, and long-term retention give it importance. This difference was quite clear in today's market.

Thinking about the future, my personal opinion is that if Splinterlands can gradually hold its own, then both of these tokens will survive in their respective places. $DEC will continue due to the internal demand of the game, and $SPS will be the hope of patient holders. Looking at today's market, I feel that there is no need to panic yet, but it is better to move slowly, understand, and observe.

Friends, this was my own analysis and thinking today. I am not advising anyone to buy or sell; I just put what I saw with my own eyes in plain language.
