Not exactly the same thing but I get your point. Back in the day everyone possessed gold. Your grandma your parents maybe even you...just a hundful of people compared to world's population have access to BTC for now let alone that due to slow transaction times it can't be used to super markets or grocery stores...but for purchases like Tesla car...maybe a house...etc...
So most likely they won't buy shitty products but most likely something of value

I was referring to how the paper money got created. It's true, buying a house with BTC makes much more sense than a cup of coffee. However the tendency is still towards the rich putting their hands on most of it.
