My Splinterlands adventure 2024 - week 13 as I activated all the 75 Lands

Splinterlands latest news are:

• Staked SPS will be counted, along with staked GLX, for the Colony Airdrop, starting on February 26. There is a minimum requirement though - 10K GLX, 100 GLUSD and/or 5K SPS. 5 more days. Enjoy!
• Third round of Conflicts started, and the best way to buy them wagons (and the cheapest) is by using 50 Vouchers, which strangelly enough did not get too expensive. As you may know, each wagon can be used to stake 5 cards and up to 100 packs. You get contribution points for everything you stake, and 100K contribution points will get you one airdrop chance. 200 chances gives you a guaranteed card.
• We got additional information for the lands, check this out on The Secret of Praetoria - Phase 2 Whitepaper Reveal, as we got Part 3 here and Part 4 here. Basically we got three types of buildings available for players to construct - Resource Production, Resource Refinement, and Resource Storage buildings, and we may need DEC, Vouchers and Production Points to build them. It is getting complicated then, with a lot of resources, which can be refined, and even the storage would be tricky to cover completely. Then, we need to pay maintenance costs for the building, and you can even repurpose buildings, for a cost. Castles and Keeps will produce special resources/ingredients. Then, the Part 4 explains the desalinization process, where you can remove the Salt from the soil and water, reducing the buildings maintenance costs and the fees/taxes level. Storage is the word of the day, as you may need it badly when you have multiple lands to maintain.
• On the second phase of the Land expansion, you will be able to provide liquidity for a resource, paired with DEC. When you provide liquidity, you are rewarded Elixir, essential resource meant to be combined with Magical Resources in the Laboratory.

Cards:

My Splinterlands battle plans are going well, this season ended with me on Champion III, after a short spell in II. The Riftwatchers cards upgrade is on the schedule, 29 cards left to max up, 7 Common, 12 Rare and 10 Legendary, with few more cards upgraded, but I do not think that I will upgrade all the legendary cards, as they are too expensive. All Riftwatchers Common upgraded to level 6, I try to get all RW Rare to level 4 next. On Rebellion, all common cards upgraded to level 5, try all rare to level 4 next. I need something crazy like 1.65M DEC to fully stake all my lands. I estimate that this will take me 3 months at least. I have now at least 1 BCX of each Rebelion legendary card.

As I have started this many seasons ago (beginning of November 2022), these are my stats for the packs I got as investment to be sold later:

Chaos Legion packs unopened: 400 (ZERO)

Riftwatchers packs unopened: 0 (ZERO)

Rebellion packs: 0 (bought 5 and opened them)

DEC: 1.678.747 staked for land.

Cards upgraded:

I bought a number of max level cards for staking on lands, aiming to put at least one card on each land, to start building, even if it will take up to 3 months, in order to optimize the process. I will add more as I get more DEC. I started with 17 Pelacor Mercenary;

Then 21 Venari Heatsmith;

Then 4 Pelacor Bandits;

Then 11 Pelacor Deceiver;

One Pelacor Conjurer;

One Naga Assassin;

One Vulguine;

Then 8 Twilight Basilisks;

And finally, 3 Exploding Rats.

Upgraded the last two remaining Rare cards from level 3 to 4, one being the Sea Stalker, gaining +1 HP,

The second one was the Water Caller, also gaining +1 HP.

From the Rebelion set, I bought one Legendary card - 1 BCX, Solace Ashinack, which looks a bit useless until level 3, with damage return for Ranged and Magic.

I have also upgraded another Legendary, Endura Brune to level 3, gaining Magic and Ranged reduction by 1, much more useful skills,

And the last Legendary, one very expensive Daarg Deadblast, basically an overpowered version of the Moxian Rebel.

And finally, used some spare change to upgrade New Sskah Drudge to level 6, gaining Affliction.
