Short form content should have a higher status on Hive and be rewarded higher than it currently is. @simplegame and a few others has been (and is) putting dedicated effort towards this. More of us should.
One way to contribute towards this, is to start giving bigger upvotes to threads. My personal criteria varies, but I generally give larger upvotes to threads of particularly high quality and to those by threaders that are consistently active.

I noticed this as well, I realised I earn more from threads even though I wish I could be consistent in creating long-form, I find myself stuck on threads, haha, my daily threadcast is a great addition as well.
