  • Ability to push enemies to the ground to be able to stomp on them

  • Ability to stomp enemies on the ground (I know that's already coming)

  • Ability to kick big orcs in the face when they're knocked to the ground instead of stomp

  • Ability to duck would give more ways to dodge attacks

  • Ability to throw spears in addition to using them to stab.

  • My favorite attack is the Dash-strike. Is there a way to make it feel even more powerful? And perhaps chain it into some other attack?

As far as duck if you are holding a shield and facing the direction of arrow etc with the new combat code it will auto block them.
and you can parry with the shield.

So we have this instead of a duck system. Try it out.

Not sure about throwing the spear as that is what throwing knifes are for (throwing knifes will not enemies out of charges.
But we can discuss the spear in house and see what we can do.

I like the jump/dive attack and the dash-strike.
I have not adjusted any knock back numbers or anything so I will make a note on more powerful for dash.
Should just be a numbers thing.

Does the new special attack feel good??? the ground slam?? It is designed to knock back a large area of enemies.

  • I have not discovered/tried the shield parrying. Sounds cool. Will try it
  • Yes, I forgot to say, the throwing knives are one of my favorite weapons. The thing with the spear is that if you decide to throw it, it breaks upon impact, so you only get a single throw. Anyways, just an idea
  • Wha-at?! Ground slam? Did not discover that one! Gonna try that as well later

there is also an attack where you can hold attack and power up a super strong punch.

okay, now we really need shorts back. I will go attack-hunting later

  • I love to be able to attack while in the air, but the attack feels kinda weak. What if enemies was knocked to the ground by it. As a trade-off it inflicts minimum damage, but opens for attacks on them while they're on the ground

  • I like the combo with the base attack. Would love to see more and longer combos, both with base attack and weapons

  • Attacks feel weak when attacking larger enemies like big orcs. One way to improve that could be a slight knock-back on those as well.

  • In general, attacks "feel" a bit weak even when they're strong. Not quite sure what specifically would make them feel more powerful, but I will ponder this

  • Hitbox gripe: With my quick reflexes, I elegantly jump over charging spearmen, but I'm hit by their spear regardless, even as I'm literally right above their heads.

hmmm... the hitbox gripe is interesting.
Will look into it.

Attacks may just feel weak right now as the numbers are not fully balanced in damage verus knock back.
