There's a cloud storage system that I saw somewhere that has privatized encryption. The contents can only be viewed by the client. Even the company does not have the keys to unlock your contents. Each account would have to be hacked.

@michaelklinejr Isn't it "NextCloud"? They have a good reputation even among the self-hosting community, and are open source. Nevertheless, the best way to protect data is to never upload them to any cloud :-)

Yep. They even advertised the point that they could not decrypt your contents for law enforcement because they have no way to do so. Law enforcement would have to get you to let them in from the client.

Of course, lose your keys, lose your contents, so be super responsible about those keys.
