I'm back in Bitcoin

I'm not a huge fan of Coinbase. I'm not even sure why I don't care for the platform. I mean it's clean and easy to navigate and trade. I don't even mind the higher fee's so much due to the convenience it provides.

Anyway, I decided to check them out again. I logged on to my account (I dabbled in crypto before when I bought Steem) to discover a tab where I could earn rewards for participating in a survey. My rewards came in the form of $10 worth of Eos (never heard of it until now) I watched the coin for maybe five minutes before converting it into Bitcoin.

It's not much ($9.64 as of this writing) but it's not nothing. I don't plan on diving in full bore quite yet. But I do plan on selling off some of the stocks I hold on the Robinhood app to diversify my crypto.

Now I still need to research where to store my coins. Thanks to a post by @cryptopie I discovered a wallet called Exodus where I can store my coins off of Coinbase or if I want, purchase Bitcoin elsewhere and add to my bitcoin stash.

It's a start, a small start but a start non the less into the crypto world. I've still so much to learn, and most likely a few mistakes to make.

I might even up my Hive account while I am at it, or not, part of me wants to build Hive up through hard work and engaging with the community.
