Welcome to our weekly MAXUV account statement.
Apologies that this report is slightly late, but am currently away from home; MAPX was posted a day early whereas MAXUV gets a day late. As no profits need to be paid to members, this is not so important. The data presented below is as of yesterday, Sunday 9 February.
We continue our steady growth in our underlying SP, although sales remain modest.
MAXUV has been given as prizes in the Nonsense Writing Contest. Again, well done and welcome to MAXUV!
One note, I see glitches in our voter, so I'm checking it every day. Any votes missed are done manually, and most members are getting slightly higher votes as I round them up to the nearest whole number. New improved voter is coming soon, but with so many changes to both steem-engine and steem itself those server problems are out of our control; the best we can do is save the data and replay it when those systems are back up and running.
MAXUV was designed to continue the tradition set by MAPR of helping users make some extra money from their stake in STEEM. The new reward curve makes this even more pressing, and yet we have seen sluggish growth. I shall need to rethink - once again - how to best brand MAXUV. There is nothing wrong with the system itself, it just needs a respray and chrome plating.
I shall be publishing a conceptual update soon.
The MAPR fund will be 2 years old at the start of February. We've been making money for Steemians for a long time.

Note that "Other STEEM" is the sum of all holdings not powered up as SP: liquid STEEM and SBD plus holdings within Steem Engine. Also note that such values are volatile, especially any holdings priced in US$, so the above numbers are a snapshot and may have changed when you look at the @MAXUV account.
The Asset Backed Value (ABV) is our total holdings calculated in STEEM divided by the number of active MAXUV tokens.
Target value for MAXUV-meter is 100% in 1 upvote per day, proportional to your token holdings as if delivered by 1 million SP.
