For a hive node you need other things. I could rent a VPS to do that but you need also support from the people here.
Yeah, a VPS is a simple way to do it, and you will need the votes of the community, but we started that way.
HiveCuba witness is now at top50, and as you contribute to the community, you will get support, and the more witnesses the better.
