Hive Dipped | Should I convert my HBD savings for Hive?

in LeoFinance3 months ago (edited)

Hello Readers,

Good morning and I hope all of you are spending an awesome day with your lived ones. Well, however the crypto market conditions are not that awesome right now, because along with BTC, most of the altcoins are keep falling where BTC is right now being traded for 57,765$ per unit with a -7.8% price impact within last 24 hours. The altcoins are also following the trend with Bitcoin, where ETH is right now selling for 3,092$, Sol for 131.5$ and Matic 0.498$ etc and I don't know, but it kind of looks this is the start of another crypto winter for us and who knows if this one is going to stay even longer the the previous one. So, in this post, let me check my crypto assets and rethink about how I should proceed into the future time. So without ado, let’s jump right in.

Impact on Hive chain

In crypto, almost all my assets are in the Hive blockchain in form of Layer 1, Layer 2 and NFT tokens. Most of my portfolio remains in Hive power, HBD, Leo and splinterlands assets and as the Hive chain has also been affected heavily by this ongoing downtrend, The price of Hive and almost all Later 2 tokens have reduced by a large margin. First of all, Hive is currently being sold for 0.1872$ per unit with a -9.5% price impact in the last 24 hours. It was trading for around 0.3$ even a month ago, but now has almost lost more than half of its value and is trading under 0.2$, which is also its recent all-time Low price. If we look closely at the price chart of Hive given above, you can clearly see a Sharp decline in price since the middle of March this year which has taken Hive from around 0.41$, its recent All time High to a current price of 0.187$, its recent All time low. Within just a short span of time, such a drastic change has completely broken the hive’s resistance badly and forced it to come down the 0.2$ price mark, which rarely happens as we saw in previous dips.

HBD is Stable

While Hive Has lost its value, HBD is still working strong and acting like a mature stablecoin and currently, it is selling for 0.971$ as can be seen from Peakd Coingecko integrated price chart. I believe in HBD and also love to get involved with active saving HBD, because of its lucrative 20% Flat APR interest. Here we can earn way better interest from our hard earned money than any offline bank of institute, without even taking any risk cause we are investing in stablecoins. Through the 20% Interest on its Stable coin HBD, the Hive chain is getting popular among risk free investors and many are choosing to keep a portion of their portfolio in stablecoin to balance the amount and also earn a sweet 20% APR while eliminating risks. This is not a financial Advice to invest by the way and please DYOR before investing in any crypto tokens.

Liquid Hive

Now, for my own Portfolio, first of all, I am Right now holding 5943.812 Liquid Hive and I am also trying aggressively to collect More liquid Hive at this point. I want to use this bear market opportunity to collect a liquid hive while it stays at this low point and I have been collecting Hive for a while and almost all of the amount which I have mentioned above, I have collected it before Hive went below 0.22$. I will be staying focused on my goal until I manage to get at least 8k Hive liquid and then I will hold onto them until they again grow back and reach 0.35$ or around and book profits.

HIVE POWER

Next, I have 11,826 Hive Power right now in my account and I am trying to actively write one post each day to keep earning Hive Power, as we are earning more Hive tokens cause of the low Hive price. I have a goal with Hive power as I want to reach at least 15k Hive power before this year's end, so the price fall and hence More earnings in the form of Hive tokens will actually help me to reach my goal faster. I believe that Hive will one day come back to its price and by then, I will be having more Hive power and more valuation, if I utilize myself at present and focus on being active on the chain, I think you should also do the same.

HBD

Last but not least, I have around 1801 HBD locked in my Savings account which also I am building for a long while and by saving my HBD payouts and other earnings. Now, I have building my HBD savings as my main Savings account because of its price stability as a stablecoins dm the awesome risk free interest. But now that Hive price has fallen down 0.18$. I am thinking to buy liquid hive with my HBD and hold for future and probably male a larger gain than keeping the money in savings. I haven't decided anything cause it is a conflict between Stability Vs volatility. So if you have read this post all down to here, your opinion is also important on this!

I hope you liked reading my post and now, Let me know what should I do with my HBD savings, should I withdraw and convert to Hive liquid or keep it as it is. Let me know your opinion in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

All crypto assets dip these days and that create opportunities. Have some liquid assets allows us to play the market. The alternative is to hold both Hive and HBD and have no stress like I do.

I also think the same thing. At first I was panicking, now I'm calm because it's an opportunity to buy.

I already dumped all my HBD for HIVE at 0.25$ 😅

I would leave the savings as they are, after all HBD is a stable crypto so it's a wise decision.

I'm the same as you, working a little on my power on the platform, and buying cryptos with the earned here. I think Hive Engine is a good place to accumulate cryptocurrencies, including the most popular ones (BTC, BCH, DOGE and others)

Spread is really high on hive engine

Yes, next question

Seems like focusing on liquid assets during market dips is a pretty good move. I believe it's about seizing opportunities while balancing stability with potential gains.

It really depends on the price of HBD as well. Some times you can screw yourself over with how much the HBD price jumps up and down. Still nothing stable about it at all.
