Based upon the box office returns, the attendance at theaters is down. I have a feeling they will be gone like malls for the most part by 2030.
If global pandemic policies R still in place, theaters will be toast.
Theaters can still find ways 2stay in business, just not 4 first-run movies: Dinner & a movie; CCTV 4 Taylor Swift concerts; festivals; marathons; metaverse workpaces...
They will have to get creative that is true. We will have to see how things change over the next few years.
