USD also benefits from being the world's reserve currency. When this status is gone and it becomes like GBP and EUR-- another run of the mill currency-- then USD will be in major trouble. USD isn't there yet, so USD hegemony continues.

There is a reason why the USD is the reserve currency and it isnt because it was ordained. That is what few online seem to realize.
It is so far ahead of anything else it isnt going anywhere for a while. In fact, the dollar as a measurement, is likely to never leave. There are so many ledgers out there dollar denominated that we cant even calculate it.
