It's not that I don't believe in Shiba Inu period. It's that I don't see it as a long-term asset to hold. With 140+ imitators of Dogecoin (Shiba Inu being one of them), nearly all exist just to capitalize of the popularity of Dogecoin. Among that 140+ group, though, Shiba Inu looks like a strong contender. There's even a Guide for it on the @crypto-guides page.
Would I put more than USD 1,000 into SHIB? I wouldn't do that. Would I buy USD 100 of SHIB? I can do that without a problem.
Dogecoin has crossed over from joke coin to "new money" which began as a joke coin. This is why I bought a couple hundred dollars' worth of DOGE some weeks ago. (The exchange I use also has few listings but DOGE is one of them.)
I'm OK with people buying SHIB if they do their own research. I'm OK with people buying SHIB if they do it as a short-term play to take profits quickly. I'm even OK with people buying SHIB to HODL. It's just not a crypto asset where I want my money (the little I have).
I'm not a fan, but I'm not a hater. I just have different preferences. In this world, it takes all kinds. If SHIB helps you buy that yacht from The Wolf of Wall Street, God bless you, you earned it!

Yes I also have my reservations about shiba. Anything can happen, let's see the future.
