20,000 CROP to qualify for drips of HIVE? That sounds right. I'm currently at over 11K+ CROP, so I'll shift some assets around to buy more CROP until I qualify at whatever the magic number is.
I wonder if @brofi is accepting delegations of VYB or other newer tokens. Excluding SWAP.HIVE and BEE, the bee-themed tokens seem to have been created within the last month or two.

Yes, I just confirmed it's 20k to start receiving a part of the "holding rewards". You can read about them here.
I'm at 23K+ CROP as of this moment. Now I can slowly add to my CROP holdings both from my own buys as well as from SWAP.HIVE:PLN diesel pool rewards.

My holding power is at 164k and I got .36 Hive today so....that would mean you should get about .05 Hive every day moving forward. So, 20 days for a full HIVE means about 18 a year. While it may not seem like much, one, it compounds at 3%ish so, you get more than just the 18, and, two, if and when HIVE goes to $20, you'll be glad to own every last share you can.
Good start!

With the daily HIVE drips I get from DHEDGE, SIM, sometimes UTOPIS, and now CROP, I'm receiving around 0.100 combined HIVE a day. It's not often I get to bring in outside money, which is why my next milestone is a combined 0.250 HIVE a day.
I need to learn some trading skills so I can learn what to buy amd when to buy/sell so I can make gains in either direction.

I tried some trading. I ended up making some here and then losing it there. Plus I paid all those fees. In the end, I think I came out behind. Plus, with all the stress and time you put into it, it just wasn't worth it to me.
Now, I just find projects I like and HODL. I'm not good enough to time the ups and downs.

Finding projects where I can accumulate tokens to HODL is the ultimate goal. I would only be trading here and there to take advantage of no-brainer moves which let me accumulate cheap but promising tokens to later trade for more desirable tokens. If I trade 30 minutes a day it would be too much.
Even if I had a wallet like you or @forexbrokr or @taskmaster4450le, I would focus on affordable tokens to accumulate in bulk rather than the big ticket items like BTC, ETH, or even Splinterlands Land Tract (TRACT). BRO would be the most expensive token I would buy periodically.

My wallet is nothing like taskmasters. lol And I'm pretty sure forexbrokr is basically double mine as well. I know he is for sure in LEO. I'm trying to be like them. Just goes to show that everybody has somebody they're chasing. As long as you keep moving forward, that is the most important thing. The rest will take care of itself with time. Control what we can control: our effort.
I agree about accumulating things that can make a difference if and when they succeed. The percentages are much, MUCH higher the lower the price you can get in. If you think about it, you can buy 2000 LEO for $400. If LEO goes to $20 like Khal is talking about, that $400 could turn into more than 1 full Bitcoin at it's current price. Pretty nuts.
Hive is the same way. That's one of the biggest reasons I'm here. Not only do I believe in both of them long-term, but I can keep adding to my stake without having to bring in new fiat. It really just makes sense.

That's a good question. I'm sure someone could tell you on the ManCave discord.
